How to Opt-Out of LocateFamily in 2025

We've received reports that this site is not honoring removal requests despite having an opt-out form, and is likely using their opt-out form to phish and harvest data instead. Should the site ask for more personal details than what they already have, please take caution.

1. Go to www.locatefamily.com.

2. Enter your first and last names. Click the search button.

3. Select the first result in the list.

4. When you find your record, Click the "delete icon" besides your profile.

5. Enter the email address you are using for your opt outs and your full name, complete the captcha, and click the "Remove" button.

6. Success! You have submitted your removal request successfully.
